Delegate of the SMS in the Delegiertenversammlung of the SCNAT Swiss Academy of Sciences

Responsibilities: See web pages of the SCNAT
Remark: According to Article 4.3.a of the statutes of the SCNAT, the SMS can choose its delegate, it does not have to be the president.


Delegate of the SMS in the Platform MAP (Mathematics, Astronomy and Physics) of the SCNAT

Delegate of the SMS in the Vorstand of the Platform MAP (Mathematics, Astronomy and Physics) of the SCNAT

Responsibilities: See web pages of the SCNAT
Period of office: 3 years, one reelection possible (article 13.3 of the statutes of the SCNAT). The candidate of the SMS is to be approved by SCNAT.


Information officer for the SCNAT

Responsibilities:

  • The vice president of the SMS exchanges all information of general nature with SCNAT and collects or distributes it.
  • The vice president of the SMS is in charge of the service "Maturity Works in Mathematics" of the SCNAT.
